Michigan City, IN –The City of Michigan City, Economic Development Corporation Michigan City, Michigan City Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Indiana Workforce Board, WorkOne, and the Blue Chip Casino are continuing their partnership to host the 4th Annual Michigan City Community Job Fair on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Blue Chip Casino. Over the last four years, these organizations have come together to provide the community with a job fair that has employers, educators, training providers, skilled trades organizations, and community groups all under one roof. This annual event continues to provide jobseekers the opportunity to connect with a variety of employers that have available positions.
Together, over 50 employers, universities, training providers, skilled trades, and community organizations are expected to participate to promote their job opportunities and career paths available. Companies and organizations across several industries including healthcare, professional services, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, transportation, distribution, and logistics will have entry-level to more experienced level positions available.
The Community Job Fair will take place in the Stardust Room at the Blue Chip Casino, 777 Blue Chip Drive in Michigan City, from 1:00 pm–4:00 pm. The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume, dress in business attire, and be ready for on-site interviews.
